The artist says, “I have visited the Newmarket races on many occasions and this is where I began to draw and paint more horses, also with the fashions on the scene and the behaviour of all the surroundings”.

“It’s good to be able to visit the stables and capture the movement and expression of these beautiful horses. This Arabian horse was a delight to draw and I enjoyed all the fine detail.”
