Karl Anthoney is a multi-media London-based artist.
Karl’s work is imbued with the rich heritage of his hometown:
“My inspiration comes from the streets, people and the vibrancy of the city”.
Working from his Hackney studio, Karl adopts a range of methods, including silkscreen printing, oil and spray-paint, often simultaneously, and his unique and highly recognisable style has gained him much attention in the capital.

Karl continues to work with well-known faces, public and private organisations in creating artwork. More recently, Karl has collaborated with high end fashion photographers where he fuses his urban style in different mediums.
Intricately detailed canvases incorporate images specific to his current environment. He exemplifies well-known figures to depict his personal perspective on modern-day life in the city and as well as its history. From Pearly Kings and Queens to local landmarks—intertwined with themes on popular culture, Karl’s latest exhibits have been showcased at The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Ben Oakley Gallery, Shoreditch Church, The Football Association and De’Longhi Art Auction at the Royal College of Art.
